Stern Construction is a family-owned, high-end residential construction company serving the greater Seattle and Eastside area. With over 60 years of combined, hands-on experience, our team builds and remodels homes for clients and architects who expect premium craftsmanship, organized project management, and a builder who communicates as well as they build.
Over the past decade, we have completed more than 75 projects, from complex kitchen remodels to ground-up custom homes. We have grown by doing excellent work, earning repeat business, and building strong relationships with the architects and homeowners who trust us with their most important projects.
We are selective about the work we take on. We believe that delivering exceptional results requires a dedicated team and a focused approach, not an assembly line. Every project gets our full attention.

Meet Our Team
Andy Stern
Owner / FounderBorn and raised in Shoreline, Washington, Andy developed a passion for woodworking in junior high and spent his early years honing skills in the shop. After attending Western Washington University and working as an apprentice carpenter in high-end residential construction, he found his calling. Andy started Stern Construction in 2016, specializing in interior finish-work and remodeling, and has grown the company steadily through craft, reputation, and relationships.
Ed Coke
Owner / COOEd brings deep operational experience to every project, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and logistics run smoothly from start to finish. His hands-on approach and construction background make him a natural leader on-site and in the office.
