Woodridge I

This project focused on a complete layout change in the kitchen, including removing load bearing walls (both interior and exterior). The architect wanted to open up the space and provide a brighter, cleaner, and more modern aesthetic for our clients, including the use of custom veneered Walnut cabinetry. Additionally, their old deck had sustained sever damage from many years of weather, and we completely reframed and rebuilt using Ipe for the finished surface along with custom fabricated & powdercoated steel handrails. The siding on this portion of the home was replaced with stained 1x6 cedar shiplap, and the eves were treated with a 1x4 clear cedar soffit material. This serves as a mockup for the future siding, window, and eve replacement they would like to have us perform.
